NLEX appointed a new governor in Ronald Dulatre and will now represent the franchise in the PBA board.
Dulatre replaces Rod Franco who has retired but remains as NLEX consultant.
Franco endorsed Dulatre as his replacement, having been his alternate governor before
and vice president and head of the Treasury, Risk and Insurance Management Department of NLEX.
Dulatre gets Franco endorsement
Dulatre was endorsed by Franco to the PBA Board led by chairman Ricky Vargas, who warmly welcomed the new NLEX governor during its board meeting on Friday.
"Nag-thank you ako kay Commissioner (Willie) Marcial, Chairman Ricky (Vargas), and the board of governors for welcoming me," said Dulatre at halftime of the NLEX-Magnolia PBA Governors' Cup game Friday night at the Philsports Arena.
"Of course, it is an honor to work with them and be part of the organization."
Rogelio Singson, president and CEO of MPTC (Metro Pacific Tollways Corp), cited the 23-year experience of Dulatre as proof of his capable leadership at NLEX.

"He has been part of the Road Warriors management team since the PBA D-League days. We believe that his experience and his Treasury management expertise will be beneficial to the PBA board and growth of the league," said Singson in his letter to the PBA board.
