AFTER playing the hero's role in Game 1 last Wednesday, TNT KaTropa rookie Roger 'RR' Pogoy couldn't even finish Game 2 of the PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals.
The Cebuano guard was ejected from the second game of the best-of-seven finals after getting caught on a sneaky hit to the groin area San Miguel veteran Arwind Santos early in the third quarter.
Replays later confirmed the hit, leading to the ejection of Pogoy.
Pogoy, who hit a career-high 27 points in TNT's 104-102 victory in Game 1, was shielded from mediamen as he retreated to the dugout after the ejection.
The Gilas cadet was the first to emerge from the TNT locker room after the 88-102 loss to the Beermen, accompanied by TNT governor Pato Gregorio.
However, the two walked straight to the Smart Araneta Coliseum parking lot without talking to reporters.
