ROBERT Bolick has rejoined NorthPort on Thursday in its preparations for the PBA Governors’ Cup following his stint with Gilas Pilipinas in the Fiba Basketball World Cup.
Bolick was present but in street clothes during the Batang Pier’s tune-up game against Alaska on Thursday morning at the Gatorade Hoops Dome.
Bolick was in attendance just a day after Gilas Pilipinas arrived in Manila following their campaign in the Fiba Basketball World Cup that saw the team finished dead last out of the 32 nations in the competitions.
Bolick was solid in his first-ever stint in the World Cup where he averaged 8.6 points in five games with Gilas Pilipinas.
His stint with Gilas Pilipinas should be a boost for the Batang Pier, who has made strides in last conference after finishing second in the elimination round of the Commissioner’s Cup. NorthPort, however, lost to seventh seed and eventual champion San Miguel.
