EVEN after making it to the PBA, Robert Bolick never forgot the value of education.

The 24-year old NorthPort star may not be able to march in a graduation ceremony owing to the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ), but he's mighty proud to have earned a Marketing Management degree at San Beda.

“Ga-graduate na nga dapat ako eh,” said Bolick during a recent SPIN Sidelines episode. “June dapat ga-graduate na ako pero nagka-ganito. Baka ma-move to a later date.”

Bolick was selected third overall by the Batang Pier in the 2018 PBA draft after winning three straight titles with San Beda in the NCAA. He endeavored to finish his studies despite his busy schedule in the pro league.

Bolick said his motivation to finish his studies was his parents, the reason he aspired to attend classes or - if he's unable to do that - do extra homework even when he was already playing for NorthPort and Gilas Pilipinas.

. San Beda was also very supportive of his goal, the former Red Lions star added.

Gusto ko talaga maka-graduate,” said Bolick.

Bolick said San Beda will always be a part of him.

“Sila talaga ang bumuhay sa akin eh,” Bolick said of the school that took him in after leaving La Salle."
