ROBERT Bolick feels right at home in NorthPort as the third overall pick in the 2018 PBA Rookie Draft is already settling down in his new team.
"Sobrang saya ko dito dahil sobrang welcoming nila. Mabait lahat ng tao dito sa NorthPort," he said.
The San Beda star is off to a fine start with the Batang Pier, with coach Pido Jarencio fielding Bolick alongside Stanley Pringle in the starting five for the team's tuneup game against Rain or Shine on Saturday.
That gives Bolick a boost in confidence.
"Si coach Pido at saka si Stanley sinasabihan lang nila ako parati na laruin ko lang ang laro ko. Go hard lang lagi at nandyan lang sila parati para sa akin," he said.
Bolick knows he has much work to do to match up with the best guards in the league.
"Kailangan ko pang magpalaki ng konti," he said with a smile as he hopes to build up his heft to match up with some of the bigger guards in the league.
"Lahat ng part ng laro ko, kailangan ko talaga iimprove para magtagal ako sa liga."
