ROBBIE Manalang has applied for the PBA draft following his stints with Adamson in the UAAP and in the PBA D-League.
Manalang’s agent, Charlie Dy, confirmed Manalang has filed his application in the PBA Commissioner’s Office to join the draft which will be held on December 16.
Manalang made it to the deadline of October 26 for Fil-foreigners who intend to apply for the PBA draft.
A product of Villa Park High School, Manalang averaged 9.7 points and 2.5 assists, while shooting 29 of 96 from threes, the team’s second-best output for Adamson in Season 79 of the UAAP, his last year with the Falcons.
Manalang moved to the PBA D-League where he made an impact in February game in the Aspirants Cup where he lit up for 40 points for AMA Online Education in its 96-93 win over Batangas-Emilio Aguinaldo College.
Manalang, 25, transferred to Marinerong Pilipino in the Foundation Cup where he teamed up with Trevis Jackson, who was the first player to send his application for this year’s PBA draft.
