THE NLEX Road Warriors continue to reach more communities and promote a positive impact beyond basketball this offseason through their Dayo and Adopt-a-Court programs.
"Dayo and Adopt-a-Court aim to unite the north and inspire the youth through our team and sports in general. We believe that by bringing the Road Warriors closer to the communities, we can foster a sense of belonging and pride among our fans in North Luzon," said NLEX President and General Manager J. Luigi L. Bautista.
On the road in Bulacan and Nueva Ecija
Dayo is an initiative aimed at bringing the Road Warriors closer to North Luzon communities and making them their home team.
Through this, NLEX remains committed to fostering a love for basketball and inspiring the next generation of athletes in North Luzon.
After its successful launch in Ilocos Norte, the Road Warriors held the second leg of Dayo in Bulacan through a surprise visit on May 29, at the Bulacan University and Collegiate Athletic Association (BUCAA) event at Jesus is Lord Colleges Foundation, Inc.

Led by Bulacan native and former Bulacan State University standout Dominick Fajardo, the NLEX players inspired student-athletes as they graced the championship event with a short motivational talk and meet-and-greet beforehand
Fajardo highlighted his journey from being a student-athlete to becoming an NLEX Corporation employee, which opened opportunities for him and eventually landed him a spot on the Road Warriors’ roster in the PBA.
“Sino'ng mag-aakala na mula sa pagiging student-athlete, makakahanap ako ng oportunidad sa NLEX Corporation na nagbukas ng pinto para makapaglaro sa PBA? Ang aking kwento ay patunay na ang sipag, tiyaga, at suporta ng komunidad ay magdadala sa'yo sa tagumpay,” the 30th overall pick in the 2023 PBA Rookie Draft told the young participants.
The excitement continued as Dayo’s third leg landed in San Jose, Nueva Ecija on June 20, when the Road Warriors not only interacted with their Novo Ecijano fans, but also gave back to the youth through a basketball clinic.
Adopt-a-Court program
NLEX also unveiled the first Road Warriors-branded court in Brgy. Dulong Malabon, Pulilan, Bulacan through its Adopt-A-Court project, which is dedicated to improving courts across communities in the north, thus creating a safe place for youth to come together.

Afterwards, the team conducted a basketball clinic focused on the fundamentals of basketball attended by 100 kids from the barangay that also featured inspirational messages from NLEX players.
The Road Warriors are set to continue their Dayo initiative in Bataan and Adopt-a-Court program in Pampanga in the coming months.
