RK ILAGAN scores 17 points to help Blackwater overcome a 17-point deficit and defeat NLEX, 95-90, for the solo lead in the 2025 Kadayawan Invitational Basketball Tournament at the USEP Gym in Davao City.
Ilagan scored on a floater with 36 seconds left to give Blackwater a 94-90 lead which proved to be enough to secure the Bossing's second straight win in the tournament that serves as a preparation for the PBA 50th season.

Abu Tratter scored on a follow-up hook shot off an Ilagan miss to break a 90-90 deadlock, before Ilagan scored the crucial shot.
Ilagan shot 4-of-8 from three-point range while contributing four rebounds and four assists in the win that put the Bossing on the verge of sweeping the preliminary round and gaining a spot in the championship game on Sunday.
The Bossing will go up against Converge on Saturday, 5 p.m. at the USEP gym.
Troy Mallillin topscored for Blackwater with 19 points, while Paul Zamar and Sedrick Barefield chipped in 11 and 10 points, respectively.
Tony Semerad had 17 points, while Xyrus Torres had 15 points for the Road Warriors, who fell to 1-1 ahead of their final preliminary game against Phoenix on Saturday, 7 p.m.
