The veteran guard and team captain signed a new one-year deal with the franchise on Wednesday, setting the stage for a seventh straight PBA season with the franchise.

Welcoming him anew to the team were manager Paolo Bugia and governor Atty. Raymond Zorilla.
Jazul, 37, remainsthe longest-tenured player at Phoenix, arriving at the franchise in 2017 after being traded by Alaska for Fil-Am Simon Enciso.

The former Smart Gilas member continued to ball for the Fuel Masters, averaging 7.6 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 17 minutes during the last PBA Commissioner’s Cup where Phoenix reached the semifinals for the first time in four seasons.
The former Letran star player said he’s grateful for the continued trust given him by Phoenix management and coach Jamike Jarin.
Jazul is the second veteran player re-signed by Phoenix after inking RR Garcia to a similar one-year contract on Tuesday.
The Fuel Masters kick off their campaign in the Philippine Cup on Friday against Northport.
