BARANGAY Ginebra cruised to a 110-93 win over guest team Macau Black Knights on Friday at the start of its PBA 50th Season Commissioner's Cup campaign at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
Justin Brownlee had 31 points and 10 rebounds, and RJ Abarrientos had 25 points and seven assists to lead the Ginebra attack in a game that was dominated by the Gin Kings beginning in the second quarter where they outscored the Black Knights, 39-22.
Scottie Thompson was in street clothes due to an injury, with Jayson David getting hurt in the second quarter of the match and was stretchered out of the playing court.

The Black Knights lost for the third straight time.
“I thought we came with a real good sense of urgency. Justin did a lot of Justin things today and RJ really stepped up in Scottie's absence,” said Barangay Ginebra coach Tim Cone.
Stephen Holt had 13 points and six rebounds, and Troy Rosario had 11 points and nine rebounds for the Gin Kings. Isaac Go played his first game after recovering from an ACL injury and saw action for 11 minutes.
Damian Chongqui had 28 points, five rebounds, and five assists for the struggling Black Knights.
