RICCI Rivero has been ruled out of Phoenix Super LPG's match against Macau on Wednesday in the PBA 50th Season Commissioner's Cup.
Head coach Charles Tiu said Rivero's absence is due to the hand injury the latter sustained in the Fuel Masters' previous outing against TNT.

Rivero's left hand was left bloodied during a sequence where Tropang 5G guard Jayson Castro was trying to reclaim possession.

Rivero's absence is hoped to have little effect on Phoenix's game against the also-ran Black Knights (2-9), as it is still shooting for a twice-to-beat advantage in the quarterfinals.
The Fuel Masters sit in fifth place with a 6-4 win-loss record, one game behind fourth-running Meralco (7-3).
Phoenix also has another game left in the eliminations against San Miguel on Saturday.
