KURT Reyson is set for his PBA debut, as Meralco officially activated the rookie guard heading to its match against Blackwater in the PBA Commissioner's Cup on Thursday.
Reyson was taken by the Bolts in the second round of the last rookie draft at No. 23 overall, but didn't play with the team outright to finish his contract obligations in the MPBL where he played for two-time champion Pampanga.
Reyson joins a loaded Meralco side that continues to miss the services of Allein Maliksi and fellow rookie CJ Cansino.
According to coach Luigi Trillo, Reyson will fill in the spot of Cansino for the meantime.

Incidentally, Reyson's PBA debut also coincides with the first game of No. 1 overall pick and Pampanga teammate Justine Baltazar at Converge.

Reyson and Baltazar helped the Giant Lanterns complete a three-game sweep of the Quezon Huskies in the just-concluded MPBL finals to retain their title.
