TOM Vodanovich is returning for another tour of duty as import of the Converge FiberXers in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup in October.
According to a report by Newshub.nz, Vodanovich has been released by his ballclub New Zealand Breakers to play for the FiberXers in the upcoming PBA season.

The report said Vodanovich will return to Converge “after a sensational one-off game for FiberXers has seen him offered a lucrative opportunity with the team.”
The FiberXers have yet to confirm the report, as of posting time.
Vodanovich played for one game with the FiberXers after he served as a replacement for Jamaal Franklin in the 2023 PBA Governors’ Cup.
The FiberXers have brought in Vodanovich once again even though the Commissioner’s Cup height limit it 6-foot-9, still two inches above the former Tall Blacks player’s listed height.
In his lone game with the ballclub, Vodanovich finished with 39 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists in the quarterfinal defeat t San Miguel last March.
Even though he played in just one game, Converge coach Aldin Ayo said Vodanovich was a good fit to the team’s system, and didn’t discount the possibility of calling him back for another stint with the FiberXers.
