Alaska signs Renz Palma after getting stuck on Blackwater reserve list

Reportedly suspended for playing in ligang labas, Palma finds new home with Aces

ALASKA has signed Renz Palma for the PBA Commissioner’s Cup, according to a recent transaction by the league.

Palma last played for Blackwater but has been on the reserve list for quite some time. According to a report by Tiebreaker Times, Palma was suspended by Blackwater for playing in a ligang labas.

But Palma was still able to represent Blackwater during this year’s Slam Dunk Contest during the All-Star Weekend where he placed second behind Rey Guevarra of Phoenix Pulse.

    The former University of the East cager was a second round pick by Blackwater in the 2018 PBA draft. He averaged 3.29 points and 1.8 rebounds last season with the Elite.
