COLUMBIAN Dyip will be one man down again when it resumes its PBA Philippine Cup campaign on Saturday against Barangay Ginebra.
The Dyip will be without scoring guard Reden Celda for their 6:45 p.m. Petron Saturday Special encounter with the Kings at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City.
Celda has been down with a viral infection and has not practiced with the team the last two days.
The third year guard from Davao will be the second Columbian Dyip to be sidelined in the season-opening conference after Jerramy King, who is possibly out for the rest of the conference due to a tear on his Posterior Cruciate Ligament.
The 26-year-old Celda, from National University, was rushed to the Cardinal Santos hospital on Thursday due to high fever and sore throat.
Celda was negative for dengue and has been discharged but advised to take a full rest.
The Dyip got 14 points from Celda in their last outing, a 107-97 loss to the NLEX Road Warriors as they fell to an even 2-2 record.
