WONDERING why TNT assistant coach Ranidel De Ocampo hasn’t shown up lately for their games?
The Gilas Pilipinas and TNT legend recently underwent surgery after sustaining an Achilles injury in his left foot during a Cavite Ballers League 40-and-Up tournament where he was playing for Tanza.

Prior to the injury, De Ocampo was even awarded a best player of the game honor when he scored 32 points and seven rebounds against Silang.
De Ocampo’s injury happened several days after TNT import Bol Bol sustained a partial Achilles tear in his left foot, ruling him out for the rest of the conference.
According to his wife Diane, Ranidel’s surgery was shouldered by TNT and PLDT group.
Despite the injury, it didn’t stop Ranidel from attending his son Ranidel Jr.’s graduation rites at Ateneo Senior High School, doing so in a wheelchair and his foot in a cast.
