Raymar Jose agrees to three-year deal with Blackwater after initially being offered one-year contract

LOS ANGELES — Third pick Raymar Jose is set to get a three-year deal after initially getting offered a one-year contract.

The agreement was reached on Friday (Saturday, Manila time) between the camp of Jose, represented by agent Ed Ponceja, and Blackwater owner Dioceldo Sy.

The formal signing of contract worth P8.5 million will be on Monday.

Earlier the Elite made a tender offer that is only good for one season and worth P1.8 million to the former Far Eastern University King Tamaraw, who was picked third overall in the recent draft behind Christian Standhardinger and Kiefer Ravena.
