BOBBY Ray Parks has an added motivation for the PBA Philippine Cup.
Saying he's eager to show the result of his hard work during the lockdown, Parks finished with a career-high 40 points to lead TNT to a 112-101 victory over Terrafirma in his first game inside the Clark bubble.
“I just want to show the hardwork that I put in and the team put in,” said Parks in a postgame interview with TV5’s Denise Tan. “To be honest, I’m tired of being forgotten. I feel like I’ve been slept on.
"I just want to use this time to really just showcase my game and all the hardwork I’ve been putting in," he added.

Parks spent most of the quarantine period in the US, where training is allowed. He missed TNT's first game on Sunday due to a calf injury but hardly looked like someone who was nursing an injury against Terrafirma.
The son of seven-time PBA best import Bobby Parks made seven three-pointers as he eclipsed by one point his previous high which he set in a 135-107 loss to TNT last year in one of his final games with Blackwater.
Parks is obviously enjoying his time with TNT.
“I’m just glad my teammates trust me. My teammates are encouraging one another. Everytime we knock down shots, it doesn’t matter who. We are happy for one another. Everything is genuine,” said Parks.
TNT now holds a league-leading 2-0 record heading into its marquee match-up against defending champion San Miguel.
But Parks said the team still has a lot of work to do.
“We know that we are still feeling it out. Tulad ng sabi ni Roger (Pogoy), nakikiramdam pa kami. Nangangapa pa kami. [But] the team came out with a great effort today,” the former UAAP MVP said.
