Sidney Onwubere topscored for the Elastopainters with 19 points, while Rey Nambatac contributed 18 points in the victory in the Batang Pier’s practice facility.
Beau Belga had 16 points for Rain or Shine, including nine in the first quarter as the Elastopainters took command, 26-16, entering the second period.
The trend continued as first half ended with Rain or Shine still ahead, 48-34.
Rain or Shine was coming off a lopsided tune-up game defeat against San Miguel earlier this week.
Christian Standhardinger posted 18 points, and Paolo Taha had 17 points for the Batang Pier. Rookie Sean Manganti had 13 points.
