RAIN or Shine will look to gain a commanding 3-0 lead in the PBA Philippine Cup semifinals when the Elastopainters take on Magnolia on Tuesday at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
The Elastopainters and the Hotshots collide in Game Three at 7 p.m. in the final match before the league takes a respite for the Holy Week.
Rain or Shine grabbed a 2-0 series lead in the semifinals after winning over Magnolia, 93-80, last Sunday.
Ed Daquioag and Norbert Torres were a spark for the Elastopainters in Game Two after scoring 19 and 16 points each to contribute to the efforts of the veterans.
The Elastopainters were in full control of the match after leading by as many as 25 points in Game Two.
One thing going for Magnolia is that the Hotshots are used to come-from-behind situations.
The Hotshots advanced into the semifinals after beating Barangay Ginebra after overcoming a 0-1 deficit in the best-of-three quarterfinals.
