GUESS who got Rey Nambatac in a trade?
It’s Blackwater.
The Bossing agreed on a trade with Rain or Shine on Valentine’s Day when they acquired the rights to the former Letran star in exchange for a first-round pick which they acquired from TNT.

Papers of the trade are now at the PBA Commissioner’s Office awaiting approval, although it is not known if the Bossing will be the final destination of the former ROS guard.
Rain or Shine coach Yeng Guiao talked to Nambatac early Wednesday and told him about the agreed trade with the Bossing.
Before news of the Blackwater trade emerged, TNT also expressed interest in Nambatac as it is keen on filling the scoring void left by Mikey Williams.
However, the Bossing may also have a pressing need for the sweet-shooting Nambatac after releasing Baser Amer following a contract impasse.
Nonetheless, Blackwater has been busy shuffling its roster weeks heading into the Philippine Cup.
While it lost Amer to free agency, the franchise nonetheless acquired the services of two-time MVP James Yap, who was signed to a one-year contract last week on top of an endorsement deal with Blackwater.
The 41-year-old Yap asked for his release papers from Rain or Shine, where he spent the last seven years of his illustrious career.
