RAIN or Shine received shocking news on Tuesday after Jun Roque was ruled out for the rest of the season due to an ACL injury.
This was confirmed by coach Yeng Guiao on Tuesday.
Roque apparently suffered the injury with 10:21 left in the fourth quarter in Rain or Shine's game against Magnolia where he slipped, his right knee appeared to have buckled, while trying to go through a screen by import Clint Chapman.

At first, the injury didn't look serious as Roque even walked on his own power when he was replaced by Jhonard Clarito, although he went to the dugout shortly afterwards to get treatment.
But an MRI later confirmed the severity of the injury.
It was an unfortunate news for Roque, who showed glimpses of what he can do for Rain or Shine team after he joined the team at the start of the Commissioner’s Cup when he concluded his commitments with Letran in the NCAA.
Roque is averaging 5.5 points, but is a deadshot from the outside, once making three threes in a game against Terrafirma.
