RAIN or Shine has signed Jaylen Johnson as its import for the PBA 50th Season Commissioner’s Cup.
Listed at 6-foot-9, Johnson will be tasked to bring Rain or Shine beyond the semifinals of the Commissioner’s Cup after Deon Thompson led the Elasto Painters to a Final Four finish last season.

The 29-year-old Johnson is a former teammate of Kevin Quiambao having played with him with the Goyang Sono Skygunners in Korea recently.
Johnson is a former player from Louisville where he signed a training deal with the Chicago Bulls and later played for the Windy City Bulls in the NBA G League.
Johnson also played for the Iowa Wolves in the G League in two separate stints in 2019 and 2020, with the Indiana Pacers in the NBA Summer League in 2019, and Motor City Cruise in the G League from 2021 to 2023.
Johnson later played internationally with Nacional in Uruguay in 2023, Taipei Mars from 2023 to 2024 in Taiwan, Hapoel Hafia in Israel in 2024 and Yalovaspor Basketbol in Turkey from 2024 to 2025.
In between his international stints, Johnson also suited up in the Big3, a 3-on-3 league In the United States.
