PASIG-Rain or Shine swept the elimination round of the 2015 Batang PBA after beating Marikina City, 85-66, recently at the Ynares Sports Arena.
The Pasig cagers won all six of their games in Group B to reach the knockout semifinals stage of the meet for players 13-to-16 years old.
Bannered by Andre Duremdes, son of former PBA great Kenneth Duremdes, Pasig will meet Taguig in the semifinal round on May 29.
Also comprising the team are Paco Erlano, Luccio Del Rosario, and Ryan Yu, Lloyd Mallari, Franz Lao, Baffy Acot, Kent Pelipel, Lance Alandy Dy, Gerome Merencilio, and Quiano Pelipel.
“In the semis, it’s 0-0 again and it’s everybody’s ballgame,” said Pasig coach Allen Ricardo, who is joined in the coaching staff by consultant Beaujing Acot.
