RAIN or Shine import AZ Reid can't wait to play Game Five of the PBA Governors Cup Finals.
"Of course, if I'm not confident I wouldn't be here (in the Finals)," Reid said on Monday night when asked if he likes Rain or Shine's chances in the winner-take-all match against San Mig.
"I'm a competitor, I look forward to Game Five, I dream of games like this," he added.
"I believe in my teammates like they believe in me," he said. "We won tonight because of team effort and on Game Five I expect nothing but the same effort and hopefully we win."
Reid led Rain or Shine with 22 points, anchored on four three-pointers, to go with 17 rebounds. But the 28-year-old it's not so much the numbers but the effort that matter.
"I do whatever they need me to do," he said. "If they need me to score, I'll score; if they need me to be the facilitator, I'll be the facilitator.
"I don't get paid to score; I get paid to win games."
