BATANGAS CITY – Rain or Shine finally picked up a win against Columbian in overtime, 88-86, on Sunday in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup at the Batangas City Coliseum.
Rey Nambatac scored a go-ahead lay-up with 2.6 seconds left in overtime for the Elastopainters, who improved their card to 3-3, while ending a four-game losing skid against the Dyip.

Rain or Shine survived after Rashawn McCarthy hit a triple from the right corner with 1.1 seconds left in regulation to tie the game at 81.
“It’s finally nice to get a win against Columbian,” said Rain or Shine coach Caloy Garcia. “We lost for the last four conferences against them. I told the players the only motivation they can get is to win today’s game.”
