    Looks to clinch QF

At third place in the team standings of Group B, Rain or Shine is expected to play with a sense of urgency. The Elasto Painters dropped to 4-3 after they lost in a blowout to Ginebra, 129-111, two Fridays ago and they will be out to bounce back from that. Plus, a win will enable Rain or Shine to qualify for the quarterfinals, leaving the last spot to be battled by Meralco, Barangay Ginebra, and Blackwater.

    Turnover prone

One of the reasons for Rain or Shine’s letdown against Ginebra was the conference-high 22 turnovers which it hopes won't happen against Blackwater. Aaron Fuller had the most among the players with nine.

    Cuajao on the rise

Deo Cuajao has been steady over the past games including against Ginebra where he had 19 points on 3-of-6 from threes. Over the last three games, Cuajao is averaging 15.3 points and shooting 8-of-14 from threes.
