RAIN or Shine won its second consecutive game, beating Barangay Ginebra, 110-99, on Sunday in the PBA 50th Season Governors’ Cup at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
The Elasto Painters went up by as much as 18 points in their first game against Ginebra since losing a heated semifinal duel to the Gin Kings in the Commissioner's Cup.

Aaron Fuller had 37 points and 12 rebounds, and Caelan Tiongson had 21 points on 5-of-9 shooting from threes as they set the tone for the masterful victory that sent Ginebra reeling to its second loss in three games.
Rain or Shine, which has now won back-to-back games after an 0-2 start to the conference, led for majority of the game after conceding a 21-17 deficit in the first period.
The Elasto Painters have regained their usual form after a shaky start to the conference when they traded Gian Mamuyac to Phoenix Super LPG.
They are now in a tie with Meralco and Blackwater for second place in Group B.
“Sabi ko nga sa team, if you want to get back in contention or at least give ourselves a chance to make Top Four in the group, we must win this game,” Rain or Shine coach Yeng Guiao said.
Tiongson also shot the lights out in the game after a 5-of-9 clip from threes, with Adrian Nocum also chipping in 13 points and 10 assists.
Riley Grigsby had 25 points while shooting 4-of-8 from fours, and grabbed nine rebounds but Ginerba still fell into a tie for last place in Group B with Magnolia.
