Greg Slaughter scored eight of his 15 points in the first quarter to set the tone for the Kings, who opened a 33-17 lead and never looked back.
Scottie Thompson contributed 14 points, Stanley Pringle added 13, and Justin Brownlee scored 12 points for Barangay Ginebra.
Romeo Travis scored 11 points and PJ Simon had 10 points for Magnolia, which is preparing to defend its crown in the season-ending conference.

Art Dela Cruz, Jeff Chan, and Jared Dillinger played in the tune-up game after suffering from injuries during the Commissioner’s Cup. Joe Devance missed the game due to an injury.
Gilas Pilipinas players Japeth Aguilar of Ginebra and the Magnolia pair of Paul Lee and Mark Barroca missed the tune-up game while in the Fiba Basketball World Cup.
