RAIN or Shine coach Yeng Guiao confirmed on Tueaday that they've signed Stanley Pringle to a two-year free agent contract.
Guiao said Pringle arrived from the US to sign his Uniform Player's Contract, which was approved by the PBA Commissioner's Office on Tuesday.

"That was why we announced it. The UPC was already signed by the PBA this morning," Guiao told SPIN.ph.
Guiao said Pringle isn't covered by the trade moratorium on all Terrafirma deals since he's already an unrestricted free agent.

The Commissioner's Office had previously imposed a freeze on all transactions involving Terrafirma players until the sale of the franchis is consummated.
A check with the PBA also revealed that Pringle's situation was under a 'special dispensation' until the Terrafirma sale was sorted out.
However, Guiao said any league-imposed freeze on Pringle's signing would be unfair since he's an unrestricted free agent - and therefore should be free to sign with any team he pleased.
'He already completed 21 conferences in the league so he's a UFA," Guiao added.
