NLEX is keeping its fingers crossed no suspension will be meted on two of its players including starting center Poy Erram heading to its knockout game against NorthPort on Wednesday.
Kiefer Ravena said the Road Warriors are on a waiting mode at the moment on the fates of Erram and Paul Varilla, who were both ejected after each commited a flagrant foul penalty 2 during the team's quarterfinal outing against the Batang Pier at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Monday.
The Road Warriors lost the game, 115-90, to force a knockout for a semis berth in the PBA Governors Cup.
"That's something out of our hands, something out of our control," said sophomore guard Kiefer Ravena..
"We just have to make sure of the things that we have right now. So far kumpleto pa naman," he added. "Other than that we have to prepare for the worst and play in Wednesday without Poy and Paul."

Erram was called for an F2 after elbowing NorthPort import Michael Qualls behind the neck late in the fourth period.
The incident happened after Qualls drove hard to the basket against Varilla, the impact of which knocked down the NLEX guard on the floor.
Qualls' momentum almost had him falling over Varilla, but accidentaly stepped on the NLEX player's stomach that led to the mini commotion.
At the heat of the moment, Varilla pushed hard NorthPort big man Christian Standhardhardinger who fell on the floor.
If there's one consolation, according to Ravena, NLEX holds a twice-to-beat advantage against the eighth-seeded Batang Pier by virtue of the Road Warriors clinching the top seed heading to the playoffs.
"This is what we worked hard for, the twice-to-beat advantage. Now we play that card, it's a do-or-die now," he said.
