ANTIPOLO – Poy Erram personally apologized to PBA commissioner Willie Marcial and his TNT team following the flagrant foul penalty 2 he committed against Eastern guard Glenn Yang over the weekend.
The veteran big man was slapped with a one game suspension and fined P20,000 for the infraction.
Erram served the suspension in the Tropang Giga’s game against Northport on Sunday at the Ynares Center, which TNT lost, 100-95.

“Mali ako sa ginawa ko. Wala na akong masasabi pa,” Marcial quoted Erram as saying when the former Ateneo center was summoned by the Commissioner's Office.
Erram claimed he got hurt when Yang nudged him on the side of his body, almost resulting in a whiplash as his neck snapped back a bit.

Still, it wasn’t enough reason for Erram to act that way, said Marcial.
“Nung nakita ko yung tape, closed fist e. Kaya may suspension na kasama,” said the commissioner.
The incident happened with just 7:48 in the first quarter just as the two players were jockeying for position and Eastern holding a 10-8 lead. Erram was ejected out of the game.
The guest team proceeded to deal TNT a 105-84 loss.
