ANTIPOLO - John Paul Erram is not alarmed with the two-game skid suffered by NLEX entering the PBA Governors Cup playoffs.
Although the Road Warriors suffered a 108-90 blowout against the Alaska Aces on Wednesday at the Ynares Center, Erram said the team is ready for its quarterfinals match up against NorthPort as the no. 1 seeded team.
Being the top seed, NLEX only needs to win once against the Batang Pier to advance further.
"Wala na (effect) kasi playoffs na ito. 0-0 na," said Erram, who poured 19 points and five rebounds in the loss to the Aces that capped their elimination round campaign at 8-3 overall.
"May advantage kami na isang laro lang."

But the NLEX big man is also aware that NorthPort beat them to jumspstart the team's losing streak.
"Siyempre tinalo rin kami ng NorthPort, so meron din silang edge sa amin," he added. "So balance lang din. Kaya kailangan namin mag focus pa para makuha namin yung panalo."
Erram is doubly focused on the coming quarterfinals that starts on Sunday.
First, it will be his first time suiting up for the Road Warriors in the playoffs after two disappointing finishes in the season's first two conferences.
And second, he's a new father to a bouncing baby girl, who was born just this week prior to NLEX's game against Alaska.
"Lagi kong inspiration yung baby ko lalo ngayon papasok kami ng playoffs," he said.
"Siyempre inspiration ko rin yung team ko kasi yung last two conferences ang sama ng ipinakita namin. So lahat yun inspirasyon ko."
