Rebuilt Talk 'N Text starting five can pass for a national team, gushes Alaska coach

    Sep 10, 2015

JUST the thought of Talk ‘N Text’s potential starting five in the coming 41st season of the PBA is enough to bring a tingle down the spine.

Imagine Moala Tautuaa manning the middle, Troy Rosario and veteran Ranidel de Ocampo at the wings, and Jason Castro with Matt Ganuelas Rosser taking care of the backcourt.

Another former Gilas mainstay, Larry Fonacier, can also start for the team in the backcourt. Also in the Texters side is Kelly Williams, who was forced to drop out of the Gilas pool by an injury suffered in practice.

“National team, bro. Super lakas,” Alas told, admitting he watched all five players during their stint with Gilas in the recent 37th Jones Cup.

Still, the experience of playing for Gilas should augur well for all five Talk 'N Text players.

“We really have to find their weakness,” he added.
