ANTIPOLO CITY—Phoenix Pulse coach Louie Alas, TNT consultant Mark Dickel, and three players were ejected early in Sunday night’s match in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup at the Ynares Center.
Alas along with David and Anthony Semerad of TNT and Jason Perkins of Phoenix Pulse were thrown out of the game with 9:11 left in the first quarter, while Dickel was ejected shortly after.
The commotion began after Calvin Abueva separated Rob Dozier of Phoenix Pulse and Anthony Semerad of TNT. As David Semarad also joined during the lull in the action, Alas was seen pushing David Semerad, igniting the near melee.
Dickel later joined Alas, Semerad twins, and Perkins as he was slapped with a second technical foul for complaining. Witnesses said Dickel threw the ball at the referee, causing his ejection.
