Phoenix is looking to bounce back from its 128-108 loss to San Miguel, its second straight defeat in the conference.
Meralco, on the other hand, hasn’t played since its 99-88 defeat against Magnolia last June 29 in Zamboanga City, its fourth defeat in a row.
Another defeat could be crucial to their playoff hopes with Alaska and Columbian, in 11th with a 3-7, still with a shot at a quarterfinal berth.
Meanwhile, NLEX, at last place with a 2-8 card, is looking to finish its Commissioner’s Cup campaign strong with an upset victory over Phoenix Pulse.
Already secured of the twice-to-beat advantage in the quarterfinals, NorthPort, in second place with an 8-2 card, is looking for momentum as it enters the playoffs with a victory over Meralco.
