PHOENIX Super LPG snapped a two-game losing streak on Friday, dealing Blackwater a 125-108 beating on Friday in the PBA 50th Season Commissioner's Cup at the Ynares Center II.

The Bossing trailed by as many as 28 points to fall to 1-6 win-loss as they missed the services of point guards Dalph Panopio, who got injured in a breakthrough game against TNT in their last outing, and RK Ilagan.
Phoenix also leaned on a huge 52-13 advantage in perimeter points.
“I like how we shared the ball, we had 29 assists, the ball movement was good for the most part,” said Phoenix Super LPG coach Charles Tiu. “Guys were making good decisions and right plays.”
Phoenix moved to sixth place, one game ahead of Terrafirma, San Miguel, and Magnolia, all of which hold a 3-4 win-loss slate.
“It just feels nice to get back with a win. Two-game losing streak is tough, the morale is down. I'm just happy to find a way to win,” Tiu added.
Phoenix started to gain distance at the start of the third when it went on a 9-0 run fueled by a three by Tuffin for a 76-56 lead.

Perkins had 25 points and Tuffin had 20 points including back-to-back threes that got the Fuelmasters ahead, 105-83, in the fourth quarter, dousing cold water on a Bossing comeback bid.
Dickey had his second 20-20 of the conference, following a 20-26 game in his PBA debut against Magnolia.
Robert Upshaw III had 36 points and nine assists, and Sedrick Barefield had 27 points but the Bossing lost for the second time under new head coach Pat Aquino.
