    Wright stars as Phoenix keeps San Miguel winless in pocket tournament

    PHOENIX Pulse defeated San Miguel, 108-90, on Wednesday for its first win in the Phoenix Super Basketball Tourney at The Upper Deck.

    Matthew Wright had 19 points for the Fuel Masters but heroes were aplenty with Jason Perkins tallying 17 points and Justin Chua posting a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds.

    Jorey Napoles also had a double-double of 11 points and 12 rebounds, while Brian Heruela added 11 assists as the Fuel Masters picked up a 1-1 record in the pocket tournament organized by Phoenix.

    Arwind Santos had 17 points, while Chris Ross had 13 points for San Miguel, winless in two matches.
