    Philippine Cup top two clash as unbeaten Phoenix battles Rain or Shine

    PHOENIX Pulse looks to keep its record unblemished when the Fuel Masters go up against second-running Rain or Shine on Sunday in the PBA Philippine Cup at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

    The Fuel Masters and the Elastopainters collide at 4:30 p.m.

    Phoenix Pulse is in first place after winning five straight games to start off the conference. The Fuel Masters edged NLEX, 83-82, on Friday.

    Rain or Shine, meanwhile, is the second hottest team in the league, winning its third straight game on Friday with a 107-100 win over NorthPort for a win-loss 5-1 record.

      In the second game, San Miguel battles Magnolia in a rematch of last year’s finalists at 6:45 p.m.

      The Beermen broke a two-game losing run on Wednesday, defeating Blackwater, 93-79, to improve their record to 3-3.

      The Hotshots look to bounce back after bowing to TNT, 80-75, last week.
