PHOENIX Pulse looks to sustain its unbeaten start to the season even as fit-again Terrence Romeo marks his return to San Miguel in Friday’s PBA Philippine Cup games at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

The Fuel Masters go up against Blackwater at 4:30 p.m., while the Beermen tackle Rain or Shine at 7 p.m. in Antipolo City.

Phoenix is the lone unbeaten team in the league after winning its third game in a row last January 23 at the expense of Columbian, 108-98.

Matthew Wright has been leading the way for the Fuel Masters, averaging a league-high 21 points per outing.

The Fuel Masters, however, can't expect to have it easy against Blackwater, which is coming off a morale-boosting 111-99 win over Rain or Shine last Wednesday - the Elastopainters' first defeat of the season.

Romeo sustained an ankle injury in his only game with San Miguel since the trade with TNT. He now hopes to help the Beermen atone for a 104-93 loss to TNT last Sunday.
