LARRY Muyang isn't going anywhere.
The Fuel Masters brass reiterated the status of the former Letran slotman after he was listed as a reserve by the Pampanga Giant Lanterns in the new Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) season.
Muyang still playing for Phoenix
"As far as I know, he's still playing for Phoenix," said head coach Jamike Jarin of the 6-foot-5 banger.
Team manager Paolo Bugia also added: "I don't really want to comment on it but he's still under contract with us."
The officials bared Muyang's current PBA contract runs until 2026.
He is currently averaging 5.5 points on 34-percent shooting from the field, to go with 4.0 rebounds in 14 minutes of action in the ongoing PBA Philippine Cup.
Muyang is close to Pineda
Muyang being listed in the Pampanga roster isn't really surprising given his close ties to the Giant Lanterns coach Delta Pineda.
The Sta. Ana, Pampanga native even played for the squad back in the 2019-2020 MPBL Lakan season and in the National Basketball League (NBL) before he was taken in the first round of the PBA Season 46 Rookie Draft.
