MARC Pingris blamed no one but himself after letting frustrations get the best of him in their 73-62 loss to Ginebra in Game Three of their PBA Philippine Cup semifinals series on Monday.
The Star mainstay lamented some missed calls late in the game that went against their favor but he insisted that he's not blaming the officiating for their Game Three loss.
Pingris played like a man on a mission as he hauled down 18 rebounds to go along with 12 points but could not contain his frustration when he wasn't getting the calls late in the game which got him off track.
Parang ganun nangyayari sakin kanina," said Pingris after the match.
"Mistake ko yun. Next game magaadjust nalang din ako. Kasalanan din talaga namin nag-give up kami kaya kami natalo," he added.
Pingris, though, was careful with his words in noting that he felt he got hacked a couple of times, and that the referees acknowledged missing those calls by apologizing to Pingris during dead ball situations.
But the pride of Pozzorubio, Pangasinan said he understands where they're coming from, and just hoped for less lapses and sharper officiating in the next games.
"Andaming foul.
