TERRENCE Romeo won’t have to wear taped shoes anymore.

The PBA superstar can proudly wear what appears as his own signature shoe for Peak after the Chinese brand posted a peek of the special sneaker on its Facebook page on Friday night.

The post didn’t exactly mention it was Romeo’s first signature shoe, but it has a red upper and a “TR” logo at the tongue, not to mention a “#1” as its caption,

That would make Romeo the first Asian to have a signature basketball shoe with a major brand, joining the likes of NBA stars Tony Parker and Matthew Dellavedova, among others.

Romeo has been wearing a generic model since he signed with Peak last year, before he wore taped-up Nike Kobe 9s since the start of the Governors’ Cup while was his new shoe was under construction.

    Expect Romeo to promote his show as he conducts a three-day “No Borders Camp 2017” in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia next month.

    “See you on Oct 26-28!” says the caption on Romeo’s retweet of Peak’s Twitter post.
