THE PBA will summon Rafi Reavis for comments criticizing officiating after Game Seven of the PBA Philippine Cup finals.
This was confirmed by PBA commissioner Willie Marcial on Sunday.
Reavis issued a statement after Magnolia lost Game Seven of the finals where he fouled out, saying the league should look into the officiating of the game which he described as lopsided.
“I just think the calls didn’t go our way. Hats off to San Miguel. I don’t take anything from them, but I just think hopefully the league really look at what happened. There was a lot of lopsidedness.”
Reavis also questioned why June Mar Fajardo, who had 17 points and 31 rebounds in Game Seven, was not called a single foul.
“I don’t know how June Mar plays the whole game and have zero fouls when it’s clear he does foul. There’s no player that plays a perfect game and they don’t foul. I just don’t understand why he doesn’t get fouls called on him. I think it’s not fair. I really don’t know to tell you the truth,” said Reavis.
“I’d rather lose 4-0 than to lose this way,” he added.
