THE PBA is moving to make tickets more affordable to fans.

PBA commissioner Willie Marcial on Thursday bared the league’s plan to sell tickets at a discounted rate for the coming 44th season and make the prices affordable to fans.

Under the promo that is still subject to the approval of the Department of Trade and Industry, fans need only to present a proof of purchase of products of the league's 12 member teams to avail of discounts.

For example, a fan will be able to avail of the discount if he or she presents a bottle cap of San Miguel Beer or Ginebra San Miguel products, and even a Meralco billing or a ticket ride from a Dyip public utility vehicle.
