BARANGAY Ginebra caught up with TNT in the PBA Governors' Cup Finals after a 106-92 win in Game 4 on Sunday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The Kings seized control of the match early, took the best the Tropang Giga offered, and went on a strong finishing kick to complete their second straight win in the best-of-seven title series.
At 2-2, the title series has been reduced into a best-of-three heading to Game 5 on Wednesday, also at the Big Dome.
Here are the takeaways from the Kings' 14-point blowout:

1.JUSTINE BROWNLEE PEAKING IN THE FINALS - the Ginebra import played his best game in the title series on Sunday, finishing with a game-high 34 points on the strength of a 2-of-4 clip from the 4-point area and 3-of-4 from three-point distance. He also finished with six rebounds and four assists on a night he lost the Best Import award to TNT's Rondae Hollis-Jefferson. The Gilas Pilipinas naturalized player seemed to be getting his rhythm back after a slow start that saw the Kings drop the first two games.
2. WILL JDV RETURN TO THE FINALS? - Joe Devance hurt his knee anew in Game 4 that prompted coach Tim Cone to limit his appearance to just a few minutes. But there's no denying that his return to the active roster rejuvenated the Kings' bench and gave Japeth Aguilar and Brownlee some valuable rest. The Kings won two of their games with Devance seeing action.

3. TNT SHOOTS BETTER FROM 3 THAN GINEBRA IN FINALS - The Kings were the best 3-point shooting team heading to the finals, but so far the Tropang Giga have been the better team from beyond the arc. While the Kings' shooting from three-point range improved in Game 4 with a 9-of-21 clip (45 percent), the Tropang Giga shot a sizzling 52 percent on 12-of-23 from the same distance.
