THE PBA is looking at staging at least two overseas games this season to reach out to more Filipino fans based abroad.

"We're still in the process of finalizing contracts but there might be one or two international games this season," Marcial said during the 44th season press conference at Conrad Manila on Tuesday.

Calasiao, Pangasinan will also host the 2019 All-Star Week later on this season as the league is set to give way to three international events in the sixth window of the Asian qualifiers in February, the 2019 Fiba World Cup in China on August if the Philippines qualifies, and the 2019 Southeast Asian Games in Manila on November.

Marcial also bared the PBA adopting three new rules this season: the Fiba-instituted "0-step" for travelling calls; an automatic review of goaltending calls; and the coaches now being allowed to verbally call timeouts than just doing gestures.
