PLEASED with the turnout of games at the Ynares Center-Montalban, the PBA is considering coming back for the Philippine Cup playoffs.
This was the pronouncement of commissioner Willie Marcial after the league drew banner crowds during the two playdates at the brand new venue.

A sellout crowd of 8,175 fans attended the May 18 playdate at the second site for games at Rizal province that had Rain or Shine against Magnolia as the main feature, and San Miguel vs. Terrafirma serving as curtain-raiser.

The first-ever game at the venue also known as "Ynares Center II" that had NLEX vs. Blackwater and Phoenix against TNT last May 2 also draw a good-sized audience.
The PBA will no longer play in Montalban in the eliminations, but is plotting a possible comeback come the postseason.
“’Yung nakita namin na ganun kagusto ng mga tao sa Montalban, magandang tignan. Baka maglagay kami ng game na playoffs doon,” Marcial told SPIN.ph.
Ynares Center-Montalban was completed earlier this year, and has hosted local events and even the MPBL shortly after opening.
