ANTIPOLO – Will celebrated TNT import Bol Bol finally become responsive to the warm reception given him by Filipino basketball fans?
The PBA Commissioner’s Office issued a memorandum to the TNT franchise reminding the team about the celebrated import’s responsibility to be responsive to both PBA fans and members of the media.

Commissioner Willie Marcial confirmed sending a memo to the Tropang 5G regarding the matter, just days after Bol Bol refused to make himself available for post-game interviews despite being named the Best Player of the Game.
Not even the prodding of team manager Jojo Lastimosa could convince the South Sudanese and former NBA player from proceeding to the broadcast panel for a short post-game talk.
Instead, Bol Bol went straight to the TNT dugout, and even then, refused to tap hands with waiting fans on his way to the dressing room tunnel.

In the post-game presser, coach Chot Reyes came to the defense of the TNT import, saying the son of the late former NBA player Manute Bol is still adjusting to the brand of game in the PBA and with the way he's being treated as a star player in the country.
Marcial recalled doing the same thing with another former TNT import in Rondae Hollis-Jefferson when he first came over to play in the league.
"Ganun din naman noon si Rondae," said the commissioner, who likewise issued a similar memo to the three-time Best Import awardee during his early dats with the Tropang 5G.
The 31-year-old Jefferson eventually warmed up to PBA fans and members of the press, and ended up among the best and respected imports of his generation.
