THE one-on-one trade involving Christian Standhardinger and Moala Tautuaa was officially approved by the PBA on Tuesday.
Standhardinger was dealt by San Miguel to NorthPort for Tautuaa on Monday, with the trade papers sent to the league office in Libis just before the end of office hours.

The 6-foot-7 Tautuaa said NorthPort management called him up to tell about the trade.
“They gave me a call, they gave me a heads-up, and it’s all in good terms,” he said.
Having been told about the trade late in the day, Tautuaa didn’t have time to say goodbye to his NorthPort teammates. But he vows to drop by the Batang Pier’s practice one more time to say thanks.

“I’ll make sure I get my goodbyes in and say what’s up to everybody over there (NorthPort),” he said.
Tautuaa had his first practice with the Beermen on Tuesday.
